Red Cross Fair

Fair of the year, set in many provinces in Thailand, but the biggest one is in Bangkok when winter is coming.

Last year, it happened in mid November. Thai Red Cross Society has turned 40 acres of #Lumpini park 🌳 into the biggest annual fair with hundreds of booths and stalls from more than 200 organisations, both government and private sectors including the armed forces, state enterprises, associations, universities and small vendors.

As we come with little children, we go straight to the Carnival zone 🎪 full of fun rides, ghost house and 'Wall of Death 🏍'. Then kids can win lucky draws and games which have been the signature of this event for almost a hundred years.

What I want to suggest is not only to arrive early before 3 pm, prepare kids water, a hat, light clothing, comfy shoes, and do not stay until 7 pm when the crowd pours in, but also to take better care of your cash 💲 not because of the pickpocket but because of each ride's cost (30-40 THB) and lucky draws and games luring your kids to play then emptying your wallet!

📍 Red Cross Fair @ Lumpini Park 🕐 10.30 am - 10.30 pm 🚇 BTS Sala Daeng Station, then sky walking to MRT Silom and cross the road. Yes, you can take MRT to Silom or Lumpini stations which are more baby stroller-friendly.

Free admission
